Woaaaaahhhh. Today's show was lotsa fun. FaceMan killed it in-studio. Those guys were halarious and a serious joy to have in the station. You definitely have to check out their show at Bluebird Feb 4th with performances by members of slim cessna's autoclub, bop skizzum, the knew, the outfit, boulder acoustic society, vitamins, medicine man, and sooooo many more. It's going to be grrreat. There was also a spotlight on Samurai Buck. I played the whole Plex album throughout the show. You MUST go to their bandcamp and download the album. 1. Foam Bullets are coming into the studio to perform LIVE and do an interview!! It's going to be great and be sure to tune in for some great Boulder alt/country/rock. If ya diggg you can see them for yourself at the  Larimer Lounge!! They will be playing with Cult of the Lost Cause, Greater Fiction, and Longest Day of the Year. All local bands!

2. REPO MAN Presented by The Watching Hour
TheMovieAdvocate.com presents a 35mm screening of Repo Man. This is part of the Watching Hour program at the Denver Film Center Colfax (2510 Colfax Ave., Denver). Friday, Jan 7th at 10pm. Pre-party beforehand at 9pm to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of TheMovieAdvocate.com. Free pizza and $1 beer!!

3. The Microdots at the Larimer Lounge
Check out this great local show with The Microdots, The Promise Collision, Cardinal Grey, and The Madhouse Act! The show is only a couple bucks and will surely be a great one. It's a bit early (The Madhouse Act plays at 8:30PM) so be sure to get there on time!

4. Speaker Snacks Presents Night of Joy, The Kevin Costner Suicide Pact (members of Fellow Citizens), Thundercade (Ryan of Hideous Men), and Gem Trails (Trevor of Woodsman) this Friday at the Meadowlark! This show marks the first of many first Friday appearances from Speaker Snacks at the Meadowlark. Rounding out the festivities with flavor will be Hillary Frey's newly constructed "Who doesn't like fur?" installation piece. You definitely want to be at this show and you can even catch this show after The Microdots at the Larimer Lounge because they are on the same block!

5. Rock out at Lion's Lair!! Warhawk, Colfax Speed Queen and Twin Peaks will be playing a killer show at the Lion's Lair tomorrow. The show starts at 9pm so get there on time!!

6. Boulder's Fox Theatre brings out local artists too! If you aren't in Denver, head to the Fox Theatre to check out Troubadours Collective featuring Dechen Hawk, Ramaya Soskin, Gasolines Lollipops, Wadirum & Max Davies Mortimer with Special Guest Jeb Bows!!
